Form I-9 verification, handled right

Hiring remotely? We serve as your authorized representative to complete Section 2 of Form I-9 — accurately, on time, and E-Verify ready — across Oregon and Washington.

For Employers

A reliable authorized representative

A notary public can serve as your authorized representative to complete Section 2 of Form I-9. Important to note: we're not notarizing the form — we're acting on your behalf to review your employee's documents and complete the employer section correctly, so it's ready for immediate E-Verify submission.

Dually commissioned in Oregon and Washington, we can verify I-9s for employees in both states, and we offer same-day and next-day appointments to meet the 3-business-day USCIS requirement.

What your employee needs

Unexpired, original documents from the USCIS Lists of Acceptable Documents: one List A document (like a U.S. Passport) OR one List B document (like a driver's license) plus one List C document (like a Social Security card).

How It Works

Authorized-representative I-9 verification, explained

When you hire someone who can't visit your office — a remote or hybrid employee — Section 2 of Form I-9 must be completed within three business days of their start date by someone who physically examines their original documents. That person doesn't have to be on your HR team: USCIS lets you designate an authorized representative to do it on your behalf. That's where we come in.

One important distinction: this is not a notarization. We don't apply a notary seal — we act as your company's authorized representative to review the employee's documents and complete the employer section correctly, so it's ready for immediate E-Verify submission.

What the process looks like

  1. You send us the Form I-9 with Section 1 already completed by the employee, plus any instructions.
  2. We meet your employee and physically examine their original, unexpired documents — one List A document, or one List B plus one List C.
  3. We complete and sign Section 2 as your authorized representative and return the finished form to you, E-Verify ready.

Because we're dually commissioned in Oregon and Washington with same-day and next-day availability, you stay comfortably inside the three-day window without pulling anyone onsite. Onboarding several hires at once? We handle group verifications too.
