Preparing for Your Notarization

What should I have ready?

  • The complete, unsigned document(s)

  • Valid, government-issued photo ID

  • Any additional signers must be present with their ID

  • Payment for services

Can you provide witnesses if needed? Some documents require witnesses in addition to notarization. Please let me know in advance if you need witnesses, so proper arrangements can be made.

What if my document is incomplete? Documents must be complete before notarization. I cannot notarize documents with blank spaces or missing information.

Are you certified and insured? Yes, I am a certified Notary Public in the State of Oregon and carry professional liability insurance.

What if I need legal advice? As a notary public, I cannot provide legal advice or prepare legal documents. Please consult with a qualified attorney for legal guidance.

General Notary Services

What does a notary public do? A notary public serves as an impartial witness for the signing of important documents. As an Oregon notary, I verify the identity of signers, ensure they're signing willingly, and confirm they appear to understand what they're signing.

What types of documents do you notarize? I can notarize a wide variety of documents, including:

  • Real estate documents

  • Affidavits

  • Medical directives

  • Powers of attorney

  • Vehicle transfers

  • Loan documents

  • Family documents

  • Business documents

What identification is required? Oregon law requires current, valid government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms include:

  • Oregon driver's license

  • U.S. passport

  • Military ID

  • Oregon ID card

  • Other government-issued photo ID

Mobile Notary Services

Do you come to my location? Yes! I provide mobile notary services throughout the Portland Metro Area and surrounding counties. I can meet you at your home, office, or another convenient location.

What are your service areas? I serve the entire Portland Metro Area and surrounding counties. This includes Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Lake Oswego, and neighboring communities.

When are you available? I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate your busy schedule. Same-day appointments may be available upon request.

Fees & Payment

What are your fees?

  • Oregon statutory notary fee: $10 per notarization

  • Travel fee: Varies by location

  • Additional signatures on the same document: $10 each Please contact me for a complete quote based on your specific needs.

What payment methods do you accept? I accept cash, credit cards, and mobile payment services like Venmo and Paypal.

Appointment Deposit Policy

To ensure commitment to scheduled appointments, a non-refundable deposit of $25 is required at booking. This deposit:

  • Secures your appointment time

  • Applies toward your final service fee

  • Cannot be refunded for no-shows or same-day cancellations

  • Will be forfeited if you are not present within 15 minutes of scheduled appointment time

Rescheduling Need to change your appointment? No problem:

  • Provide 24+ hours notice to apply your deposit to a new appointment time

  • Changes with less than 24 hours notice will require a new deposit

  • Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
